Andy is the ‘boy-dog next door’. With his cap and arms folded like a knotted pretzel his posture suggests that he is more reserved and introverted than the confident Barry.
Barry, Andy, Emily and Susan make up stereotypical personality types often found in cartoons. Their physical shapes are a balance of thin spindly limbs with bulbous round forms with over-sized feet placed sturdily on a bronze base-plate. The subtle differences in their postures however suggest very different personalities. The characters are reminiscent of the advent of animation the days of black and white Disney film shorts.
