Broken Monolith portrays a moment of final collapse or meltdown, frozen in time. The mysterious black monolith in the sci-fi movie Space Odyssey (2001) formed the inspirational starting point for this piece. The table’s clean-lined geometric shape has been fractured, revealing a molten core of sticky, soft insides.
