Dog Roar Crystal (green)
In the Lion’s breath series, this dog sculpture sits in contradiction to the undomesticated lion, opposing their origins, their role and their interactions with humans. Dogs are playfully and humoristic, and is a trademark of my artwork as I am a passionate dog lover. The sculpture was designed to infuse the quirkiness of a dog, playing around with the Lion’s breath pose. This man’s best friend sits patiently by itself, creating its own breathing space to greet, heal and be happy.
Made from high-quality crystal oar, crystals offer a unique combination of transparency, colour, and brilliance that is hard to find in other materials. The ancient lost-wax casting technique used to create it, which has a lineage stretching back thousands of years, makes it exclusive and an ancient art form. Additionally, crystal sculptures are extremely durable and resistant to scratches, chips, and other forms of damage. This makes it perfect for creating long-lasting, beautiful sculptures that can be enjoyed for years to come. I have chosen a slightly frosted finish to give the sculpture a vintage look and infusing different types of metal and minerals in the casting process to capture the swirls and movement of the colour textures within the sculpture.

How does an edition work
We sell limited editions of artwork. This means we will only produce a certain number of works in a specific shape, size, or colour. Once a work is released, it is first-come, first-served, and it might sell out real quick. If you do not want to miss out, just register your interest and subscribe to the newsletter. We will drop you an email when the release is about to kick off.
All editioned sculptures have their edition number and signature engraved at the base. For prints and paintings, the edition number is written either on the front or back.
